Portville Hall of Fame
Bea Scott Husband graduated from Portville High School in 1932. She taught
at Steam Valley, Shinglehouse and Port Allegany before coming to Portville to
teach for eighteen years. She set in motion the Portville Retired Teacher
Organization overseeing it for over twenty-two years. She has been an active
member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Portville Senior Citizens and a volunteer
for Olean General Hospital, Portville Echo Program, and Interfaith Caregivers.
