Portville Hall of Fame
Dr. Ivan H. Harrison graduated from Portville High School in 1947. He
attended St. Bonaventure University, the University of Buffalo, and University
of Buffalo Dental School where he received his DDS degree. In 1956, Ike
entered the U.S. Air Force, serving until 1958. He returned to Portville and
opened his own dental practice on Temple Street where he served our
community for forty-five years, retiring in 2003 at age 74. An active member
of the American Dental Association, he also served on the PCS Board of
Education, the Bolivar Country Club, and the Bedford Rod and Gun Club.
