Portville Hall of Fame
Chuck, a well-known Librarian in the area, started his teaching career as a
Biology teacher. He served as librarian at Portville Central School for 24 years,
and presently is Library Director at the Portville Free Library. He was a
Reference Librarian at Saint Bonaventure University Library for 12 years. He
served on the Village Board of Trustees and was a Charter member of the
Portville Lion's Club. He was in the first American Field Service (AFS) for the
Portville Chapter and helped many Portville students to study abroad.
