Portville Hall of Fame
Frank H. Aloi served as long-time mayor of Portville from 1979 to 1995. He
received his degree in General Business Management from Alfred Ag And Tech
Institute. In 1961, he returned to Portville and in 1968 was hired as treasurer
of Portville Forest Products, Inc.
His community involvement includes being a member of the Portville Sacred
Heart Church where he served as Eucharistic Minister, Village Board of
Appeals, Portville Lions Club, Portville American Legion, Portville Food
Pantry, President of the St. Vincent De Paul Society of Cattaraugus County,
President of Cattaraugus County Municipal Officials Association, Elks Lodge
#491, and the Portville Men’s Club.
