Portville Hall of Fame
Frank H. Aloi served as mayor of Portville from 1979 to 1995. After
receiving a degree in General Business Management from Alfred Ag And Tech
Institute. In 1961, he returned to Portville and in 1968 was hired as treasurer
of Portville Forest Products, Inc. His community involvement includes being a
member of the Portville Sacred Heart Church where he served as Eucharistic
Minister, Village Board of Appeals, Portville Lions Club, Portville American
Legion, Portville Food Pantry, and President of the St. Vincent DePaul Society
of Catt. County, President of Catt. County Municipal Officials Assoc., Elks
Lodge #491, and Portville Men’s Club.
