Donald Dusenbury Succumbs Sunday After Heart Attack
Donald M. Dusenbury, 65 Temple Street, descendant of a pioneer family long associated with
lumbering and banking in this area, died Sunday morning in his home following a heart attack.
He was born here December 19, 1884, the son of John Edgar and Delle Mather Dusenbury. He was
educated in local schools and graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy, Andover, Mass.
Mr. Dusenbury was married to Marie Page of Olean at Portville in August, 1906. Mrs. Dusenbury
died ten months ago.
Surviving are one son, John E. Dusenbury of Olean; three grandchildren, Henry Mather and Van
Wyck Loomis Dusenbury of Olean, and a grandson born Monday morning in Olean General hospital;
one sister, Mrs. William Anderson (Katherine), Santa Barbara, Calif.
Funeral services were held in the home Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 by Rev. Charles Peet, pastor of
the Presbyterian Church and the remains were laid at rest in the family plot in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
